2003-born goaltender Justin Wagner has committed to the Ice Hawks for the 2021-22 season!

Get to know Justin:

Where did you grow up/play hockey before the Hawks? What position do you play?

I grew up in Tsawwassen, BC and I played Greater Vancouver Canadians U18 AAA (major midget) and I’m a goalie.

How have you been keeping busy during COVID? What are some of your hobbies?

During COVID, I kept in shape with a home gym, and I like to go waterskiing and boating.

Who is your favourite NHL team/player? Were you cheering for anyone in the playoffs?

My favourite NHL player would be Carey Price and I rooted for the Montreal Canadians in the playoffs.

What are you hoping for this season? What are your hockey goals?

I have high hopes for this season and I am excited to play for the Ice Hawks! Being my hometown team, it has been my dream to play here and I’m honoured to be a part of it. My hockey goals are to play university-level hockey in the future.
