GIBSONS, B.C. – Given the unique logistics of scheduling playoffs around ferry schedules, it only made sense for the Tom Shaw Conference Quarterfinals series between the Delta Ice Hawks and the Coastal Tsunami to go back-and-forth, with Games 1, 3, 5, and 7 all tabbed for Delta to host, leaving games 2, 4, and 6 to be played on the Sunshine Coast. The head-on-a-swivel approach to the schedule served as an unintentional omen of the game about to be played.
