Hawks part ways with Coach Robinson

The Delta Ice Hawks have parted ways with head coach Steve Robinson after eight and a half seasons at the helm.

Coach Steve joined the Ice Hawks in January 2018 and led the team to the first PJHL title in six years, followed by a silver medal at the Cyclone Taylor Cup. That set a tone for the Hawks, who made the playoffs (advancing to at least the semi-finals) in every season except one under his leadership. In 2022, the Hawks hosted the Cyclone and won silver on home ice. The next year, Delta won an intense finals matchup to take the league title and advance to the Cyclone again. Over the nine years of his tenure, the Hawks went 244-98-16-11-5 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T).

This team has shared many laughs, many tears, and many great moments with Coach Steve. Thank you, Stevo, for everything you’ve done for this organization. You’ll always be a part of the Hawks family – we wish you the best.
