The Delta Ice Hawks Junior A Hockey Club (the “Team”), is pleased to offer $15,000 in Registered Educational Savings Plan (“RESP”) contributions for 2026-27 hockey season to six players, ($2,500 each) that demonstrate outstanding commitment to community, education, team and advancement.
Total Award: $2,500 RESP contribution per player. Maximum 6 players. Players may be eligible for additional $500 Canada Educational Savings Grant.
Community: Players receiving scholarships must volunteer in team-sanctioned community, minor hockey, and local school events.
Education: The student athlete must maintain B or higher grades in high-school or post-secondary courses.
Team: Strict adherence to team rules, such as not using drugs, alcohol, cannabis, vapes, tobacco, or similar products at any time. Not using expletive, offensive, or derogatory language at any time. Attendance at all team events unless approved by the Head Coach. Compliance with all BC Hockey, BCHC, and federal, provincial or municipal laws and regulations.
Advancement: Player must advance to higher level of play, such as listed or signed by a Major Junior team or advancing to a college/university team.
