The Delta Ice Hawks, having advanced past the Coastal Tsunami in five games, met a Flames team fresh off of their own five-game first round victory against the Port Coquitlam Trailblazers. With many returnees from last year’s Stonehouse Cup finals on both benches, the Tom Shaw Conference Semifinals were all set to be another illustrious chapter in the PJHL’s recent history.
