The Ice Hawks took home a big 10-1 win on the road, defeating the North Vancouver Wolf Pack at the Harry Jerome Rec Centre on Thanksgiving Monday.
Aiden McGregor-Bennett and Danylo Bereza scored their first goals in the PJHL, the first two goals of the night. McGregor-Bennett’s was scored while short-handed. Carson Merriman and Alex Lucchesi also had goals while the Hawks were down a player. Austin Kofler scored a power play marker, the only goal for Delta on the man-advantage. Brayden Sinclair had two, and Henry Smith, Payton Hu, Brayden Sinclair, and Yuji Akimoto had goals in the win. Goalie Zach Shaughnessy saved 23 of 24 on the night in net.
The Hawks are back in action Tuesday night for the first matchup of the year against the Aldergrove Kodiaks.
