The Ice Hawks had another big offensive night Friday in Abbotsford, taking down the Pilots 10-0 at MSA Arena.
Zach Shaughnessy stopped all 23 shots he faced in his seventh start of the year.
Five goals were scored in the first period; two by Conner Merriman, his ninth and tenth of the year. Logan Joslin and Austin Kofler each got their fourth of the year, and Brayden Sinclair scored his tenth.
Dylan Garland netted the lone goal of the second period; his third of the year made it 6-0 Delta.
Carson Merriman scored two the four goals in the third period, goals eight and nine on the season for him. Payton Hu added his sixth and Colin Jang his fifth.
The Hawks are back at home on Tuesday night against the Ridge Meadows Flames, who sit in second place in the Harold Brittain Conference.
