The Delta Ice Hawks are hiring!
Founded in 1997, the Delta Ice Hawks are a member of the Tom Shaw Conference of the Pacific Junior Hockey League. The team won the Jr. B Cyclone Taylor Cup in 2006, and PJHL Championships in 2001, 2006, 2012, 2018, and 2023. The Ice Hawks are a proud member of the Delta community and play home games at the Ladner Leisure Centre on Tuesday nights at 7:30 pm.
We are expanding our Hockey Operations department in an effort to enhance the player development and experience. We are looking for a HP1 certified coach with WHL or Jr A Tier 1 experience to be our new Associate Coach and Player Development lead. This is part of our team’s commitment to become a Jr. A Tier 1 team.
We are able and willing to shape the position and final duties or responsibilities for the right candidate, based on their experience and strengths. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in high performance setting, with an ability to lead practices and video sessions, and develop team and player-specific developmental plans. The successful candidate will work closely with the HC/GM to develop season goals, and program delivery and execution.
