Thank You 20s!

Our Graduating 20s this year are: Yuji Akimoto, Ryan Bal, Austin Kofler, Carson Merriman, Connor Merriman, Dominic Passalacqua-Main, and Mason Upton!

Yuji served as team captain for his 20-year and was able to play in 18 games, scoring 22 points (9G/13A). In his three seasons with Delta, Yuji had 94 points (33G/61A) in 91 games. In the playoffs, he had 29 points (7G/22A) in 44 games.

Ryan hit the 100-game milestone this season, finishing with 116 games played. He had 68 points (11G/57A) in his three Ice Hawks seasons on the blue line. He also had 14 assists in 14 playoff games.

Austin was an Ice Hawks for four seasons, with a break in the middle to go play in Austria in 2021-22. He has 29 points (10G/19A) in 84 regular season games, and 22 points (7G/15A) in 25 playoff games.

Carson had an historic 20-year season, becoming the all-time scoring leader for the Delta Ice Hawks with 182 points, passing former Hawks captain Jordan Deyrmenjian for the team lead. in 113 total games, he had 182 points (66G/116A), as well as 38 playoff points (16G/22A) in 38 games.

Conner also hit the 100-game mark this season, finishing with 114 in his PJHL career. He had 141 regular season points (66G/75A) and 47 playoff points (26G/21A) in 48 playoff games.

Dominic spent most of the season on the LTIR and helped out on the bench as an assistant coach in that time. He was able to get into one regular season game and three playoff games this year, with 32 points (11G/21A) in 36 career regular season games, and 14 points (7G/7A) in 20 career playoff games.

Mason came to the Ice Hawks at this season’s trade deadline, playing in three games for Delta. Over his four-season PJHL career, Mason played with the Surrey Knights, White Rock Whalers, and Ridge Meadows Flames.
