The Ice Hawks made some moves on trade deadline day:
- Delta traded ’05 F Oleksandr Gutsu to the Port Moody Panthers for ’05 F Dawson Toledo
- Delta traded ’05 G Jacob Zillich, ’05 F Aiden McGregor-Bennett, and futures to the Surrey Knights for ’03 G Mason Upton and ’04 F Ryden Mathieson (McGregor-Bennett was later traded to the Port Coquitlam Trailblazers by the Knights)
Acquisitions:
- Toledo had 12 points (6G/6A) in 27 games with the Panthers
- Upton had a 3.90 GAA and a .904 SV% in 22 games with Surrey
- Mathieson had 27 points (14G/13A) in 31 games so far this season with the Knights
